Wallabadah and Premer are the Latest Towns Hit with Water Restrictions

Level One Water Conservation Measures will be introduced for Wallabadah and Premer residents today.

The Measures include;

 Sprinkler use limited to 2 hours per day

 Wash down of hard/paved surfaces by high pressure hose only

 Permits required to fill pools over 2,000L

Liverpool Plains Shire Council’s Water Services Manager, Rod Batterham, said the level in Wallabadah’s water source, is at a level that would be unable to maintain supply on its own.

"The drawdown on the aquifer supplying Premer’s Pump Station has also dropped to the level requiring Level 1 measures to conserve the supply." Mr Batterham said.
