Teenager airlifted to hospital after falling off horse

A young girl suffered a serious shoulder injury after falling off a horse on Monday night.


The Westpac Rescue Helicopter was called to the scene at Narrabri just before 8pm.


Reports said a 16-year-old girl had fallen from a horse and sustained a shoulder injury.


She was treated on scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics.


Paramedics then took the girl to Narrabri Hospital to meet the rescue helicopter.


The patient was then transported to Tamworth Rural Referral Hospital in a stable condition.
