Police are seeking anyone who may have witnessed, sighted someone suspicious or has knowledge of a break and enter in South Tamworth overnight.
At about 1:30am this morning an unknown person kicked in the front door to an address on Jenkins Street in South Tamworth.
An elderly occupant yelled at the offender who had entered the home.
The offender quickly fled the scene, taking the victims handbag that contained a phone and personal belongings.
