A man will appear in court today after being charged with drug supply in the Tamworth Yesterday.
Following inquiries, just after 3.30pm yesterday a search warrant was executed at a house on Goonoo Goonoo Road in South Tamworth.
During the search, police located and seized a pistol, a butterfly knife, cannabis and methylamphetamine.
A 34-year-old man was arrested at the scene and taken to Tamworth Police station where he was charged with supply prohibited drug, possess unauthorised pistol, not keep firearm safely, possess prohibited drug x 2 and possess or use a prohibited weapon without permission.
The man was refused bail and will appear before Tamworth's Local Court today.
