A Man will face court today after officers executed a search warrant at a house on Anthony Road in Tamworth locating $47,000 worth of Ice as well as cannabis and cash.

Just before 1pm yesterday, officers from Oxley Police District executed a search warrant at a house on Anthony Road, Tamworth.

During the search, police will allege they located and seized methylamphetamine, with an estimated potential street value of $47,000, cannabis and cash.

Two men, aged 28 and 20 were arrested at the house and taken to Tamworth Police Station.

Following inquiries, the 28-year-old-man was charged with possess prohibited drug, supply prohibited drug, possess cannabis and deal with proceeds of crime.

He was refused bail and will appear at Tamworth Local Court today.

The other man was released pending further investigations.
