Miniature Horse Federation are holding their Spring Celebration Show at the Tamworth Paceway.

Including Miniature, Small Horse and Little Horse Show. Entry is free.

Moonbi Car Boot Sale

Support the Tamworth Representatives of the Armidale Special Olympics and the Ten Pin Bowling team, by bringing your car along for a boot sale.

Spring Garden Expo

An amazing day is set to wow crowds at the Spring Garden Expo at the Hanging Rock Hall on Barry Road.

There'll be market stalls, lots of plants, raffles and farm produce to peruse.

Plus raffles, garden art and live music.

Food and drink available as well.

Tamworth Short Film Festival

Tamworth’s silver screen to come alive with local talent!

Tamworth’s premier film festival is back in 2019 for one night only, showcasing the best and brightest of the region’s film makers. The re-launch of The Tamworth Short Film Festival offers budding country creatives, writers, producers, directors, actors and camera men and women to capture, collaborate and create the stories they want to tell.

Entry is free but tickets are limited, so please book in advance.

Tamworth Pride Fair Day

Tamworth Pride Fair Day is an outstanding, family friendly, fun, and community-based event that will see stall holders, activities and entertainment throughout the day to entice every member of the family - including the dog.

Featuring live music, entertainment, food stalls, sausage sizzle, gaymes, doggy fashion parade, kids’ corner, fair day attractions and information stalls. Tamworth Pride brings together lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, intersex and queer (queer, intersex and asexual) community members, services and local Government from Tamworth, NSW.

This year’s focus is saying “Thank You” to the local community for their support in the “YES” vote and providing a fun day out for the whole community who have welcomed us with open arms.

The Night of the Horse

There will be something for everyone at The Night of the Horse with bulls, brahmans, wagon wheels and family fun high on the agenda of entertainment. Watch out for lucky door prizes, merchandise give-aways and the T shirt Gun promo shooter! Keep an eye out for the Cowboy Dance Cam and Kiss Cam as it scans the crowd to ensure an evening filled with belly laughs and ‘tell your friends’ moments.

This production will be hosted by Network 7's Sammie O'Brien and will feature Equine Super Trainers: Warren Backhouse (Australia's highest money earning Reining Trainer, WEG rider and multiple Futurity, Derby and Open Champion et.al.). Brett Parbery (12-time Australian Dressage Championship, 3 Olympic Games and a top 10 WEG finish et.al.) Rob Leach (American Cow Horse Futurity Champion, Warwick Stallion Draft Winner, Equitana Cow horse Champion et.al.)

As well as Scotty Finlayson and Grant Quigley, these trainers will be riding some of Australia's highest money earning performance horses in the country and will ensure The Night of the Horse is a must see event.

Alongside these amazing trainers will be interactive demonstrations of trick riding, show jumping, barrel racing to name just a few disciplines.
