Country 4 Our Country bush fire relief concerts announced

In an incredible show of country spirit, two massive country music bush fire relief concerts have been announced, supporting the Salvation Army Disaster Appeal.

Driven by Chris Watson from Chris Watson Travel, Country 4 Our Country will benefit those on the frontline of the devastating bush fires across New South Wales and Queensland.

The Tamworth concert will be held on November 29 at the West Tamworth League Club, with the second concert on Sunday December 1 on the Central Coast.

This idea has been embraced by the country music community, with local organisations and artists getting involved.

"The first artist to put his hand up in support and join the line up was multi-award winning star Travis Collins," said Chris Watson.

Travis Collins will be joined at Wests by Tamworth locals Ashleigh Dallas and Aleyce Simmonds, alongisde Catherine Britt, Rex Dallas, Brooke Lambert, Dan Murphy and some special guests.

Chris says he is proud to be a part of the appeal and hopes that everyone can get behind it too.

"The drought has already tested the resilience of many and now to see communities face the thread of these intense bushfires is gut wrenching."

Local 2TM announcers Peter Huxley and Sally-Anne Whitten will also lend their hand, set to compare the event in Tamworth on November 29.

The second concert will be held in Gosford at the Central Coast Leagues Club.
