A 47-year-old woman faced Tamworth Local Court on Monday 29th June after allegedly crashing a vehicle into a house on Anthony Road in South Tamworth, on Friday afternoon.
After being assessed by paramedics, the woman returned a positive alcohol breath test and was taken to Tamworth Police Station.
Further analysis returned a positive alcohol reading of 0.369, more than 7 times over the legal limit.
Police allege the driver reversed harshly out of a driveway before mounting the gutter and crashing into a home.
No one was injured during the incident despite multiple children playing on the road at the time.
