Tamworth residents are cashing in, with 170 claiming rebates under Council’s Water Saver Rebate Scheme.
The most popular choice has been ceiling fans with 40 rebates claimed and the servicing and maintenance of evaporative air conditioner with 31 rebates claimed - both of which were new additions to the product list in February.
Council said it continues to actively promote the rebate scheme.
"With DIY renovations increasing at this time residents and business owners are encouraged to check what rebates their property may be eligible for to ensure they are incorporating the most water-efficient items where possible," TRC said in a statement.
