Council wish to advise of the following night works being carried out on the following major roads in Tamworth between June 21 and June 30.
Marius Street (MR63) – will be closed nightly between Brisbane Street and Darling Street, 7pm to 6am each night, Sunday 21 June and Monday 22 June. Detours will be in place to allow asphalt works to be carried out on both sides of the road.
Brisbane Street (Oxley Highway) - asphalting works will be carried out between Peel Street and Kable Avenue (Gunnedah bound lanes), 7pm to 6am, Wednesday 24 June. Traffic Control will be in place, minor delays of 3-5 minutes are expected.
Peel Street (MR63) - nightly road works will be undertaken 7pm to 6am, 25 & 26 June, between Tribe and Johnston Streets. Traffic control will be in place, minor traffic delays of 3-5 minutes are expected.
Darling Street (MR63) - asphalting works will be carried out between Marius Street and Peel Street, 7pm to 6am, Sunday 28 June
Armidale Road (New England Highway) - asphalting works will be carried out between 372 Armidale Road (about 100 metres past Austin Tourist Park) to just past Woodside Road, 7pm to 6am, 29 and 30 June. Traffic control will be in place, minor traffic delays of 3-5 minutes are expected.
