Reconstruction of Bligh Street, from Marius Street to Piper Street, will begin on February 5, scheduled for completion approximately February 28.
During this time there will be major changes to traffic flow, and some extended delays will occur.
Drivers are asked to allow an extra 20 minutes for the journey or take alternative routes.
IN OTHER NEWS:
Two-way traffic flow will be maintained at all times, by opening parking lanes for traffic.
When this is completed, traffic will use the travels lanes, whilst parking lanes are constructed.
This means there will be no parking along this section of Bligh Street while construction is in progress.
