Police seized a railway detonator, cannabis and guns during a property search in the region.
Officers from Oxley Police District have charged a man with intimidation, aggravated break and enter and firearm offences, after he allegedly he intimidated a 37-year-old woman at a house on Johnston Street Tamworth, on two occasions in December 2019.
About 3am on February 2, police alleged the same man, 36, attempted to break into a motel room on Ringers Road before leaving the scene.
On Thursday, police stopped the man while he was driving on Nundle Road at about 6.50am. He was arrested and taken to Tamworth Police Station.

A short time later, police executed a search warrant at a property on Nundle Road, Woolomin, where they seized two rifles, three scopes, ammunition, cannabis, a railway detonator and a plastic water bottle with tape.
The man was charged with a number of offences, including aggravated break enter and steal, two counts of intimidation (DV), four counts of possession of unregistered/unauthorised firearm, not keep firearm safe, possess ammunition, and possess drug and goods in custody.
He was refused bail and is due to appear in Tamworth Local Court on Friday.
