Crews from Fire and Rescue Tamworth and West Tamworth were called to a house fire in the early hours of Saturday morning.
On arrival, they found an abandoned house that had been boarded up on fire in Coledale, West Tamworth with the rear of the house ablaze.
Crews, with the help of hose lines, quickly brought the fire under control and searched the house for any people and the all-clear was given.
The inferno was extinguished, and the property was handed over to police to investigate the cause of the fire.
