Passers-by jumped into action when they came across a crash at the weekend. About 6pm on Sunday, a Ford utility was travelling west towards Barraba when the driver allegedly lost control and rolled several times.
A short time later, the occupants of a vehicle passing by stopped and assisted the three women, the 23-year-old driver and two passengers aged 18, who suffered various injuries.

The passers-by conducted CPR on the driver until emergency services arrived. The 23-year-old suffered various broken bones, and suspected internal and spinal injuries. She was airlifted to Royal North Shore Hospital.
One 18-year-old was taken to Armidale Hospital with broken bones and a head injury, while the other was taken to Tamworth Hospital with suspected broken ribs, and head and spinal injuries.
Officers attached to Oxley Police District continue to investigate the incident.
