Eighteen new Rural Crime Investigators will be deployed across regional New South Wales to target country crime including stock theft, illegal hunting, stealing, trespassing and firearms offences.
The announcement will see the Rural Crime Investigation Unit grow to almost 60 investigators state wide.
Western Region Commander, Assistant Commissioner Geoff McKechnie says the huge investment will revolutionise the unit.
