Mulesing ban goes before Upper House inquiry


A proposal to ban mulesing and mandate pain relief for all invasive procedures on farmed animals will go before an Upper house inquiry Tuesday 11th August. The Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Amendment Bill (2019) was introduced to NSW parliament late last year and is the culmination of 15 years of lobbying by Mark Pearson MLC. 2TM journalist Toni Ambrogetti spoke with Mr Pearson and sheep farmer James Jackson to get the full story.
