Drivers should expect minor delays as council prepares to undergo night works on the Bligh Street roundabouts. The Piper Street roundabout will undergo work on Monday and Tuesday from 7.00pm to 6.00am and will be closed between Smith Street and Cohen Street, with access only for residents, from the Smith Street or Cohen Street ends - there will be no access off Bligh Street. The Johnston Street Roundabout will undergo work from Wednesday to Thursday. Between 7pm to 6am, Johnston Street will be closed between Smith Street and Hyman Street, with access only for residents. For both sets of works, traffic on Bligh Street will be under the direction of traffic controllers. Drivers are asked to avoid the area if possible as delays of up to 5 minutes may be experienced and to exercise caution if travelling through the work sites.
