A man was airlifted to Tamworth Hospital following a single-vehicle crash on Wednesday.
At around 1.30pm the Westpac Rescue Helicopter responded to reports of a crash seven kilometres east of Barren Junction on the Kamilaroi Highway.
Reports from scene was that a 60-year-old man was suffering serious injuries.
He was treated on scene by local Ambulance Paramedics and transported to Wee Waa Hospital where the Helicopter and Critical Care Medical team met with the patient.
He was provided further treatment for neck and pelvis injuries before being flown to the Tamworth Rural Referral Hospital in a stable condition.
