Several people have been charged following search warrants in the Tamworth area targeting drug supply.
Following extensive investigations, police yesterday conducted a vehicle stop and, after a search of the car, located 20g of MDMA and an amount of cash.
Three men, aged 23, 19 and 22, were arrested.
Three search warrants were subsequently executed at properties in Muswellbrook and Tamworth, where a number of items were seized including cannabis, MDMA and an amount of cash and a baton.
A further two men, aged 31 and 24 were arrested.
All five men were taken to Tamworth Police Station and charged with a range of offences. They will appear before Tamworth Local Court on Monday January 6 2020.
