FEB 8-9 Top Ten Things to Do

10. Bar Choir Sundays presented by The Big Endings & Gunnedah Conservatorium

Sunday 9th February, 3 PM – 5 PM, Gunnedah Hotel

Join the bar choir sessions house band, The Big Endings from Gunnedah Conservatorium for a good old fashioned pub sing along of popular classics. With a repertoire including popular songs from the last 50 years, you will be singing along in this choir in no time. This Sunday choir session welcomes all comers and will be led by musicians from Gunnedah Conservatorium.

9. Games Night with the TGC

Saturday 8th February, 6 PM Tamworth Games Club Tamworth, New South Wales

At the club we provide space for people to come together to all varieties of board games, card games, tabletop games and role-playing games. If you’re interested in playing in or learning to play Dungeons and Dragons Campaign or looking for people to play you board games and varied other strategy games with come along and have a look. $5 per person to help us with venue hire, but your first visit is free.

8. Adopt Pet Day

Saturday 8th February, 9:30 AM, Bunnings Tamworth (Animal Welfare League NSW - Tamworth) Volunteers take some of our adoptables for a meet and greet.

7. Exhibition Opening Cheryl Willcox, Mother-Nature

Saturday 8th February, 3 PM – 5 PM, Weswal Gallery Tamworth All welcome to join us in celebrating the opening our first opening of 2020, Cheryl Willcox's Mother - Nature. Mother-Nature captures the beauty and power of nature, in stark contrast to the adverse drought and subsequent water restrictions and the larger threatening shadow of climate change. Despite the bleak environment, the artist delivers a series of colourful and vibrant oil paintings that defy the drought.

6. Tamworth Remote Control Car Club Open Day First For The Year 2020

Sunday 9th February, 9:00 am – 12:00 pm Tamworth Radio Control Car Club Dorset, 26 Back Kootingal Rd, Nemingha NSW 2340, Australia GET YOUR BACKSIDE TRACK SIDE: Tamworth Radio Control Car Club N.S.W. are having there first open day. So bring your family, friends and your cars or just come along to see what it is all about .Cost is free for both tracks and membership is available just see one of the committee member also be a free sausage sizzle and cold refreshments . Gates open @ 8.30am and we will get underway @ 9am

5. Cute Valentines Day Cookie Making

Saturday 8th February, 2:30 pm – 6:30 pm 26 Hartmann Dr, 26 Hartmann Dr, Kingswood NSW 2340, Australia A Valentine's theme that cover the basics of decorating and working with royal icing. Techniques covered include: * piping and flooding * airbrushing and stenciling * polka dots * marbeling * creating texture with icing * exploring different icing tip shapes * take home instruction manual and other goodies. Participants will complete up to 9 cookie projects during the workshop. *EXCELLENT FOR BEGINNERS AND EXPERIENCED DECORATORSExtras: Light refreshments with sweet and savoury snacks will be provided. 3. Tamworth Swap Meet

Sunday 9th February, from 6am, Jack Woolaston Oval, Peel Street Come along and check out all the amazing items at the Tamworth Swap Meet, hosted by the Outlaw Hot Rod Club Inc. Gold coin donation with all donations going to the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service.

2. CLASSIC LADIES FOUNDATION CLASSIC LUNCHEON

Saturday 8th February, 12 PM, at the Australian Lifestock and Event Centre This’ll be good - see you up on the mezzanine of the indoor stadium for a scrumptious lunch - best seat in the house. 4 lucky door prizes to be won & a free bag of horse feed for the first 20 people to buy tickets from us at our stand - this event is not to be missed!
