10. Bird Watching Field Trip

Join the Tamworth Birdwatchers on a field trip to DUMARESQ DAM. This is a bushland area where you can see waterbirds including the musk lorikeet, striped honeyeater, crested shrike-tit, musk duck, little eagle.
We leave from behind the community Centre in Darling Street at 8am.

8. OzPeel Clean Up Australia Day

Come and join the North West OzFish Chapter clean up our local waterways this Clean Up Australia Day 2020 to improve the health of our beloved river and fish habitat.
We're asking the local community to come down and volunteer on Sunday 1 March 2020.
Join your community and help reduce the amount of waste in our beautiful river.
Volunteers are asked to bring sun protection, sturdy footwear, gloves, and plenty of water. Community members of all ages are encouraged to join us in a family-friendly atmosphere that gives back to our fishing future.
We'll be providing a free BBQ breakfast provided for all volunteers plus we'll be undertaking some habitat improvements such as tree planting and maintenance as well as rubbish removal.
7. It all starts at the Con - an evening of fine music

Join Tamworth Regional Conservatorium of Music for an evening of fine entertainment presented by the Conservatorium’s talented staff and their friends. Many of the performers have achieved national success in their chosen areas of performance.
The program will include solo and ensemble performances and cover a wide range of musical genres from classical to jazz.
‘It all starts at the Con’ and the 2020 concert is sure to be an evening of fine music and fun.
6. Retro Sundays at Forum 6

4. King of the Ranges - Murrurundi

The Upper Hunter's Premium Equine event where horsemen, women, and juniors show off their talent and skills in 6 preliminary events in the hope to reach the finals of Obstacle Course, Stock saddle buckjump and Wild Horse Catch.
Along with the challenge, there are many other events during the weekend. Junior Whipcrack, goat races, rough stock rides, demonstrations, market stalls, and Bush Poetry.
3. Escape Rooms Tamworth

Escape Rooms are the latest worldwide craze in gaming. It is a live game where you and your team are taken to a themed room and immersed into a movie like scenario.
