Tamworth Radio Control Car Club N.S.W. are having there first open day. So bring your family, friends and your cars or just come along to see what it is all about.
Cost is free for both tracks and membership is available just see one of the committee member also be a free sausage sizzle and cold refreshments.
Gates open @ 8.30am and we will get underway @ 9am.
9. Fundamentals of Photography

Join AIPP Accredited Professional Photographer, Katie Player of Love Story Photography in a course for the beginner, enthusiast or hobby photographer. Designed to help you understand the key components of photography, light and how to operate your camera to capture better images.
COURSE LEVEL - BEGINNER DATE: $145 Inclusions: Morning tea, lunch, snacks. Attendees will also receive take away course notes and certificate of attendance. 8. Mosaic Workshop

Back by popular demand! We are again hosting a fun filled very creative 2 day mosaic workshop. Limited spaces available so get in early and claim your spot.

7. Climate Crisis: National Day of Action
Saturday 22nd February, 11:00 am SHARP Tamworth War Memorial Town Hall, Fitzroy St, Tamworth NSW 2340, Australia
2019 was the year the climate crisis became impossible to ignore for millions around the world. School strikers mobilised in their hundreds of thousands in Australia and inspired workers and other adults to rise up. Join us for a peaceful protest to show all levels of Government that country people living in regional areas are among the most exposed to climate change and share the concerns of other Australians who respect the decades of climate science which tell us we urgently need to act.
Parking in the Tamworth CBD may be tight in light of this event. Please allow generous time as we aim to commence at 11am sharp. Consider parking in East Tamworth and walking over the railway line at Fitzroy St. A pedestrian crossing on Marius St provides easy access to the venue.
Those travelling from out of town are invited to join us for lunch afterwards at the Tamworth Hotel (opposite train station) from 12ish.
6. Goalball Come and Try Day

A new sport is in town! Tamworth New-England Goalball Inc is a not for profit organisation which will help children and adults with vision impairment to be able to play a sport with their friends as everyone wears blacked out eye wear to ensure an equal playing field. We are looking for all ages who would like to try a new sport. It is challenging, exciting and great for team building.
Come along to our 2020 launch this Saturday to see what it is all about.
Looking for all ages to come and try out goalball this Saturday between 10am and 12. Details on how to play, register or volunteer time will be available on the day.

Flickerfest 29th International Film Festival Roadshow is on its way to Gunnedah!
Gunnedah is again lucky enough to host this popular short film festival in 2020, with two sessions – the Best of Australian Short Films and Short Laughs Comedy Films from around the world. Flickerfest is considered to be Australia’s leading competitive short film festival and international filmmakers see it as one of the main festivals on the world circuit. Each of the sessions includes a careful selection of short films – each of which is very different to the others. You never know what might be coming next.
Come along and see the best Australian and international filmmakers have to offer.
Flickerfest 2020 will include two sessions:
10am – Best of Australian Shorts (includes morning tea on arrival)
1.30pm – Short Laughs Comedy (includes lunch)

Tamworth businesses are digging in to help those impacted by the ongoing drought with the aptly named project, ‘The House that Drought Built’. The aim of the project, build a custom designed, beautifully finished home at a hugely discounted rate to be sold at auction to the highest bidder.
All proceeds from the sale of the property will be allocated to The Salvation Army Rural Relief program to specifically assist farming families impacted by drought in the Tamworth local government area. Special Guest Mayor Col Murray & live broadcast by 92.9!

It's on again, the Iron Jack Bendemeer Rodeo! Kicking off Saturday 22nd of February at the Bendemeer Rodeo Grounds. The action starts at 12pm, with the main event kicking off from 6pm.
