Dairy Farmers milk recall after potential E. coli concerns

Concern over potential contamination has forced the immediate recall of two milk products.

The recall applies to bottles of Dairy Farmers 1L Full Cream white milk with a use-by date of 25.02.20 and Dairy Farmers 3L Full Cream white milk with a use-by date of 24.02.20.

A statement from Dairy Farmers' parent company Lion Dairy and Drinks said the impacted products were manufactured at the company's Penrith dairy manufacturing site and have been distributed across NSW in stores and cafes.

The company said the products were being recalled due to a risk of E. coli contamination but "there have been no consumer complaints to date".

Anyone who finds the impacted products in their fridge should dispose of the product and call the Lion Dairy & Drinks consumer inquiries centre on 1800 677 852 for a full refund.
