1,661 cases of COVID-19 were recorded by Hunter New England Health in the 24 hours to 8pm last night. Breakdown for the region is as follows:

• Tamworth records 100

• Armidale records 5

• Gunnedah records 9

• Liverpool Plains records 6

• Uralla records 1

106 active hospitalizations were recorded in the district as well as 9in ICU.

2 deaths were recorded in the district.
