Two men have been charged over the armed robbery of the Pub in Tamworth last year.
It will be alleged just before 8.30pm on Monday 1 October 2018, two men armed with knives entered the Pub on Gunnedah Road and threatened staff, demanding money.
The men fled with cash and police were alerted.
Officers from Oxley Police District established a crime scene and commenced an investigation into the incident.
Following extensive inquiries, a 22-year-old man was arrested by detectives in Glen Innes on 10 January 2019 and charged with armed robbery. He remains before the courts.
After further inquiries, a 21-year-old man was arrested in Newcastle yesterday (Wednesday 8 May 2019) and charged with armed robbery.
He’s been bail refused to appear at Newcastle Local Court today (Thursday 9 May 2019).
