2TM's Top Ten Things to Do in Tamworth

Australian Horseball Games

On Sunday from 10am head to the Moonbi Showground for the Australian Horseball Association's Horseball Games.

Cost:

$20 members, $35 non-members.

Includes BBQ lunch and fun for everyone!

NUMBER 9

Social Bike Ride

The Broken Spoke in Tamworth will be holding a Social Bike Ride on Sunday from 8am. Social ride at Mount Borah--only riding the Enduro trails (Stage 2 and 3), don't worry, it's nothing extreme!

There's a shuttle trail available for this club event for North West Mountain Bikers - all covered by MTBA.

There are 9 bike positions on the Trailer and 4 seats in the BT50. If you want a lift out please contact Andy D and book a seat in the BT50 for transport to Mount Borah.

Full face helmet recommended. Knee guards are also a nice option.

Transport leaving from the shop at 9am.

$10 track fees.

$5 for fuel.

Spring Fashion Parade

If you're looking for some of the best gowns to wear as we get closer to the Spring Carnival season, the Tamworth Bowling Club has a Spring Fashion Parade on Saturday from 6:30pm.

It will cost $20 per person which includes canapes and a glass of bubbly. For more details contact the club.

Quirindi Spring Show and Rodeo

A massive weekend in Quirindi with the Spring Show kicking off with a ABCRA affiliated rodeo on Friday night at 6pm and more to follow on Saturday.

Hayley Marsten's Album Launch at the Press

Hayley Marsten will launch her hotly anticipated debut album, ‘Spectacular Heartbreak’ at The Press on September 14th.

This is Marsten’s first full length release, after the success of her EP ‘Lonestar’, which debuted at #8 on the ARIA Country Charts and #1 on the AIR charts and spawned 4 singles all reaching top 40 on Country Radio, the last of which went to #1 on the Kix chart.

It's free to head along and it kicks off from 8pm on Saturday night.
