TAMWORTH SHOW is back again for the second year at the AELEC!
The Tamworth Show will be held on the 30th, 31st of August and 1st September 2019. Come along to experience the fastest growing action packed show of Northern NSW.
We’ve got a massive line up this year with heaps of rides including: Tea cups, Pony ranch, Bungee trampoline, Crazy fun slide and Ski flyer! As well as show bags, side shows, entertainment, animal nursery, fireworks and so much more!
Tickets are on sale at the Main Entrance to AELEC.

Kootingal Country Fair
Sunday 1st September // Kootingal Recreational Reserve // 9am - 2pm
Come on down this Fathers day, Sunday 1st of September, to the second annual Kootingal Country Fair!
With so much to explore including, market and food stalls, Woolomin Petting Zoo, garden games, putt-putt golf, jumping castles, face painting and much more!
This year we also have a new attraction joining us, The Pitts Family Circus! The Pitts Family have been traveling around the world since 2002, showcasing their amazing talents and providing great entertainment for all!
The Kootingal Motor club will even be there showing off their classic cars for all the dads out there!
Be sure not to miss out on this fun fulfilled day!

Sydney Youth Orchestra
Sunday 1st September // 10:30am // Gunnedah Town Hall
Musicians from Gunnedah join Sydney Youth Orchestras’ Symphonic Wind Orchestra for a special collaborative performance, featuring works by Gustav Holst, Ralph Vaughan Williams and Percy Grainger.
This family-friendly, interactive performance will be opened by the St Mary’s Stage Band and is a wonderful way to introduce orchestral music to families and young children.

2019 NSW Northern Zone DTL Carnival with the Clay Target Club
31st August - 1st September // 9am // Tamworth Clay Target Club, Loomberah
The 2019 Northern Zone DTL Program is on this weekend with some cash prizes to be won.
Established in the early 1960's and moving to the current grounds in Loomberah in 1977, Tamworth Clay Target Club is a medium sized club and has most of the disciplines available to those wishing to participate in the sport of Clay Target Shooting.
