SHAVE THE WORLD

Sunday 10 November // from 9.30am // Carlo’s IGA, Calala


The day is getting close! Why not support Donna Kelly from the Sidewalk Cafe in Calala raising money for 'shave the world' as she shaves off her locks!


There will be a BBQ sausage sizzle starting from 9.30am with the food being donated by Carlo. All proceeds going to 'shave the world'.


This is a great opportunity to support our local shops and help donate for a cure!

BLACK GULLY FESTIVAL ARMIDALE

Saturday 9 November // 10am – 5pm // New England Regional Art Museum


Every year New England folk gather at Black Gully (behind NERAM) to celebrate community, music and biodiversity.


Starting at 10.00am you can browse through the Maker’s Market and chill out with art, food, drink, nature and of course live local music.

Kids art and environment activities all day.

TAMWORTH WALK ‘N’ TALK FOR LIFE

Sunday 10 November // from 10am // Bicentennial Park, Tamworth


Walk 'n' Talk For Life is an action group of caring people who want to make a difference with mental health and preventing suicide in our community.


We will meet at the yellow Walk n Talk marquee which will be located on the Bicentennial Park side of the Tamworth Regional Playground. On arrival you will get a warm friendly welcome and a free t-shirt.


There will also be a complimentary BBQ after the walk, but don’t forget your water bottles and to slip slop slap!

ST JOEY’S QUIRINDI COLOUR RUN

Sunday 10 November // from 10am // Quirindi Showground, Quirindi


St Joseph's Primary School, Quirindi are holding their own colour run so be ready to get covered in colours!


The whole community is invited to this fun event - either walk or run 2.5km or 5km. Entry Fee: $10 per person

DANCING FOR THE RAIN

Saturday 9 November // 10am – 4pm // South Tamworth Bowling Club

Join us for a great day full of Variety Acts for the whole family to enjoy!


From dance, poetry, comedy DJ and even raffles! Entry is $5 single & $10 family with all proceeds going to our local farmers!


So come and help support our local farmers!

WESTPAC RESCUE HELICOPTER CHARITY DAY

Sunday 10 November // 8am – 3pm // Stu Johnson Park, Porters Ln, Quirindi


Join the Quirindi Motorcycle Club for a great day of racing plus other family events!


There will be a jumping castle, lucky dips, raffles, cake stalls, tombola, guess the lollies, fairy floss and more!


So come on out for a great day and support the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service!

131st ANNIVERSARY AT TAMWORTH POWERSTATION MUSEUM

Saturday 9 November // 9am – 4pm // Tamworth Powerstation Museum


Come along and check out all we have on display this Saturday as we celebrate the 131st anniversary of Tamworth's electric street lighting.


Our amazing volunteers have been working hard to assemble new display cabinets generously sponsored by Essential Energy.


So drop by to see the launch of the Veness Letter Book display in our amazing new cabinets and so much more!

CAPERS CARNIVALE

Friday 8 – Saturday 9 November // 7pm – 10.30pm // Tamworth Regional Entertainment & Conference Centre


Come along to Capers Carnivale!


2019 will be the 10th Capers to be held at the Tamworth Regional Entertainment and Conference Centre.


Performances by exceptional talent from public schools across the north of NSW will be on show! From our massed choir of 200 voices, dances including tap, ballet, modern and contemporary, concert band as well as individual items of song, dance and drama!


Be sure not to miss out on this amazing performance!
