26th Person Charged in Relation to Tamworth’s Drug Syndicate
A man has been charged as investigations into the supply of prohibited drugs in the New England region continues.
In August 2018, detectives from Oxley Police District established Strike Force Radius to investigate the supply of illicit drugs and firearms in Tamworth.
A massive break through was made by the Strike Force in late May, when it dismantled a Tamworth based drug syndicate, responsible for supplying Ice accross NSW and over the boarder into Victoria.
Since then, 26 people have now been charged in relation to ongoing investigations into the drug ring.
The latest arrest was made at 7:10am yesterday morning when detectives arrested a 40-year-old man at his home in Aberglassyn.
He was taken to Maitland Police Station and charged with multiple offences.
The man was granted conditional bail to appear at Maitland Local Court today.
